Robust Product Development was founded in 2018 by brothers, Zev and Ty Kartiganer.
Throughout their careers, they have tackled extremely difficult design challenges that now allow them to confidently aid companies in swiftly solving their engineering troubles.
Zev in an active member on the industry advisory board of the University of Connecticut for Biomedical Engineering. He is an inventor on numerous patents, most notably for complex electromechanical design, as well as in the microfluidic space. Throughout his career, he has brought many product designs from napkin sketch to production. He was showcased in a Marquis's Who's Who as a distinguished product development expert and engineer in 2026.
Ty is a seasoned Electrical Engineer that has worked on printed circuit board development and electro-mechanical designs across many industries. He has vast experience working with software teams for easy hardware-software integration. His designs aim to create the simplest solution for the most complex problems. One of his designs includes a cutting-edge HVAC control unit with integrated machine learning connected via WiFi, Bluetooth, and cellular. He has worked on many IOT devices. He elegantly focuses on the key features of the technology, but also future proofing the device with later-to-come features. He has been a key player at RPD for pushing AI into our devices and organization.
